I have been in New Zealand for 4 months now and I love it. My wife is happy and feels completely safe and my son is a different littly boy to what he was back in South Africa. I dont think that I will be updating this site much anymore as being in NZ has taken my mind off SA and frankly I just dont give a damn what the ANC and their african brothers do there anymore.
I pity those who can't get out of SA and wish those die hards white patriots all the best that refuse to leave SA. Why they wont leave SA is beyond me, as I can understand the point that they are born there and its as much their country as it is the blacks, but to put you family at such risk just seems very selfish to me.
The same cannot be said about the africans though as they dont feel that SA is home to the whites but that all the whites in SA are there for the robbing, raping and killing and that whites dont belong there.

My entire family is leaving for New Zealand end of February 2007 because there is no work for whites in SA. I have a degree in telecoms and my wife has numerous diplomas. I cannot get work in SA due to Affirmative Action and have already lost my business in 2001 due to BEE.My son will have no future in SA, so we rather leave to a country that will appreciate our skills and protect us from crime. The rate of people leave SA is at an all time high. Its too little too late now for the ANC has again woken up too late.
This will be my last post till we are settled in NZ. Hope to be back online soon

What a sad state of affairs SA is currently in. Thabo Mbeki claims that the crime is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, yes with all his bodyguards how would he know. South Africa is reeling at the mercy of ruthless thugs yet the Minister of Safety and Security says they (whites) can complain till they blue in the face. If they (whites) don't like it they can leave.
The ANC government is releasing statements to the world that crime is on the decline yet the citizens of SA will arg
ue differently.
Corruption is rampant in SA, BEE (Black Economic Empowerment) companies crash at the rate of 70% within 2 years of starting up due to mismanagement and corruption. Skilled engineers are leaving the country by the plane loads only to be replaced by incompetent AA (Affirmative Action)
candidates.
South Africa has an HIV rate of 21.5% (2003 est), unemployment rate of 25.5% (2006 est) with 50% of the population living below the poverty line.
The CIA has the following on SA. "South Africa is a source, transit, and destination country for men, women, and children trafficked for forced labor and sexual exploitation; women and girls are trafficked internally - and occasionally to European and Asian countries - for sexual exploitation; women from other African countries are trafficked to South Africa and, less frequently, onward to Europe for sexual exploitation; men and boys are trafficked from neighboring countries for forced agricultural labor; Asian and Eastern European women are trafficked to South Africa for debt-bonded sexual exploitation

Its not surprising that many of South Africa's Senior politicians are friends with notorious criminals in SA. SA is a haven to African warlords, Mafia, Triads, Thugs, Gun Runners, Drug Cartels, Nigerian Criminals, and organised crime
SA is only getting worse. Thabo Mbeki, spineless as he is and 
who spends more time outside SA is due to step down this year. The most eligible candidate for the 2007 elections is the ex Deputy President Jacob Zuma. How is it possible that a man who has been implicated in rape, corruption and general mismanagement can actually be considered as a presidential candidate. The man has a primary school education yet he is very likely to become the next president of SA.
Many South Africans are against the World cup being held in SA due to the insanely high crime and violence crippling the country. Tourist agencies deny the crime problems as they stand to loose a lot of money. Government denies that there is a major issue with crime as they can loose millions if FIFA cancels the World Cup in 2010. Australia has already been put on standby by as a back up country to host the 2010 World Cup. Thabo Mbeki only recently acknowledged that there is a crime problem but said that it is not as bad as it is being made out to be.All their people, agencies, government officials do not care about the individuals that will be harmed or killed but only about their own profits and greed.
Take heed before you come to South Africa. You have been warned. You can loose your life here. Worse, you could be tied up and forced to watch your wife and daughter being gang raped, this is a daily occurrence in South Africa.

Complaining about problems does nothing except make everyone more miserable and make situations worse. Do your part! Go find kids sitting on the streets and make them play cricket with the white kids. Instead of struggling with stupid bergie bothering us for money, go into townships and and small shops and support them.
The crime is a problem because of bad people that grew up around people that think alike. Help them see the other side of society and in the same way get a better understanding of their side. This site is not helping make the world a better place. |

I visited SA in 2006 and was mugged 3 days after arriving. The cops didnt care. My wife still has nightmares. We will never visit SA again. I warn all our friends to avoid SA

The crime in South Africa is excalating to a phenomanal degree. The excuse that poverty, lack of employment and so forth is the cause of crime, is absurd. How can you justify raping a woman (or child) or murdering an innocent victim as an excuse for no food on the table or no roof over your head? You can't!! And as a mother with a child, i fear for our safety everyday and take precautions and try my best to ensure that we too don't become just another statistic. But i shouldn't have to. I should be able to enjoy my freedom in this country as both a human being and a South African. After all, I too pay taxes and contribute to a colourful nation, but yet i am so limited in so many ways. My days in this country are few as i head for greener pastures, something i am sure i will never regret
